CASE STUDY
Patient is a male born 03-19-1922. CHIEF COMPLAINT: The patient’s primary complaints were extreme daily fatigue. He stated “At times I just don’t feel like I have an ounce of strength.” He has not felt his best for over two years. He states he sleeps very well and feels best in the morning. As the day progress he feels more and more fatigued. He feels the most tired in the early afternoon and often can not continue with whatever he is doing and takes a nap. After he is rested he feels a little better, but not good. He also complains of his muscles and joints hurting. He was unable to describe it clearly. It does not seem to correlate with any activity. Medication only helps to “take the edge off”. He complained of a pressure type pain at the top of his forehead. It seemed to come and go. He was unable to correlate it with anything particular. He also reported he did not feel his thinking was not as clear as it used to be. He gave the same time frame for all of his complaints, about two years ago.
