Abstract

The age of personalized nutrition has arrived. Information from the Human Genome and HapMap projects has opened up the promising new field of Nutrigenomics. This interface of genomics and nutrition can promote health or promote disease. About 3 million single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNP) have been deposited in public databases.
