Abstract

In light of recent developments and advances in scientific knowledge and integrative physiology, the view that rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and most other “autoimmune diseases” are “idiopathic” is no longer intellectually defensible, scientifically tenable, or ethically responsible. Readers of the previous six parts of this “Reducing Pain and Inflammation Naturally” series should already be adept at the implementation of each of the foundational components of the “Five-Part Nutritional Wellness Protocol” and should now be ready to add more advanced assessments and interventions in the treatment of disorders of systemic inflammation.
